and in Casma Sechín can be
visited.
The wonderful panorama of the Cordillera
Blanca in the Callejon de Huaylas
attracts tourists and climbers from
all over the world.
The thermal sources and the Conococha
Lake as well as the blue lakes of
Orcococha and Chinancocha (incorrectly
called Llanganuco Lake), attracts
many tourists.
It is impossible not to be moved
by the calm and tragic horizon of
Yungay. . Towards the north the freeway
crosses the greater number of tunnels
of the country; the Callejon gets
narrowed and suddenly the deep Cañon
del Pato is visible, with the river
becoming a torrent in its entrails.
The Cordillera Huayhuash is a fabulous
route for trekking and is considered
as one of the ten best routes for
trekking in the world.
